Blackfoot, Idaho

Carrollton is located about 48 miles southwest of Atlanta.  That means that you should be about an hour to an hour and a half away from NFL, NL, NHL, NBA and NASCAR sporting events.

Carrollton has a population of about 20,000 people.

For today’s Retirement Life Planning we are going to look at Panama City, Florida.

Panama City is located on the Florida panhandle on the coast.

Being someone that enjoys warm weather, Panama City has a climate that I approve of as it averages 237 sunny days per year.  Panama City has a population of about 37,000 people.

Panama City averages about 65″ of rain per year with the wettest months being July (8.7″), August (7.5″), March (6.2″) and September (6.1″).

Wilmington, Delaware

In today’s Retirement Life Planning we are going to look at Wilmington, Delaware.

Wilmington has a population of about 72,000 people.  It is located about 33 miles southwest of Philadelphia.  Wilmington is conveniently located near many historic sites.  It would be easy to take a weekend trip to Philadelphia; New York City; Washington D.C. or Gettysburg, PA as they are all less than 3 hours away.  You could also easily take a 3 day weekend trip to places such as Jamestown, Virginia which is only about 5 hours away. 

Wilmington averages about 43″ of precipitation per year with the wettest months being July (4.28″) and May (4.15″).  Wilmington get the most snow in January (7″), February (6″) and Decmber (5″).

Today as we look at our retirement life planning we are going to look at Berkley.  No, not Berkley, California…Berkley, Colorado.

Berkley is located in the North Central part of Colorado near Denver.  Berkley has a population of  about 11,000 people.  Berkley doesn’t get much rain (about 13″ per year), but they make up for it with 54″ of snow per year.

For today’s look at your retirement life planning, we are going to Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Arkadelphia is a city of about 11,000 people with a low crime rate. It is located about 66 miles southwest of Little Rock.  If you want to see a major professional sports team, you will have to travel to Dallas, Texas which is about 272 miles WSW of Arkadelphia.
